Obituary of Bryant Eberl

Please share a memory of Bryant to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On the evening of March 29, 2024, Bryant Gorden Michael Eberl passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 62 years. When Bryant’s heart took its last beat, the sun broke through the clouds and shone bright just like he did during his life. Bryant was the proud business owner and operator of Brantford Vacuum for over 20 years before his retirement. When he wasn’t working, he spent his time entertaining family, friends and golfing with the ‘West Winds Boys’. He loved fast cars, cooking for others, music, movies and a cold cocktail on a hot day. He was a hard worker and was often seen helping others around him. His ability to make people feel welcome and cared for was a true gift. Bryant is preceded in death by his mother (Hildegarde), his father whom he considered to be his superman (Matthew) and his chosen son Michael. He is survived by his boy Oscar (who is the goodest boy), his sister Judith (Norman) and brother Martin (Donna). He was an uncle to Jason, Crystal (Sofia), Dean (Daisy), David, Shannon, Laura, Emma, and Joshua. Bryant was also a beloved great uncle to many and had numerous extended family members across Canada and Germany. Bryant will also be remembered by his ‘bonus family’ Cathy, Lacey (Dave), Hailey (Michael predeceased), Buddy, and Jacey (Justin). He was also lucky to have ‘bonus’ grandchildren Seth, Wade, Ryan and Kaylee who lovingly referred to him as “B”. He will be missed by many people he considered to be friends. Especially Ken, Gerry, and Mike, as well as his shop family Paul and Ben. To honour Bryant’s request, no funeral services will be held. However, a celebration of life will be held on April 13, 2024 from 1PM until 3PM at 459 Paris Road in Brantford, Ontario. If you are not able to attend, I would invite you to please privately celebrate Bryant’s memory in your own way. Memorial donations may be made to the H.O.P.E Boarding Program at the Brant County S.P.C.A. who took such good care of Oscar during Bryant’s hospital stays.Arrangements are entrusted with Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331. A tree will be planted in memory of Bryant in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
