Hurley, Jean (nee McDonald) Passed away peacefully at her home at the Village of Winston Park, Kitchener on Wednesday, November 25th, 2015 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Milton Hurley (April 1969). Loving aunt of Betty (Vern) Kocher, Allan (Marijke) Stott, the late Diana Stott, Pat Ford, Wayne (the late Judy) Bourne, Bob (Jill) Bourne and the late Gordon (Joanne) Bourne. She will also be fondly remembered by her great-nieces and nephews and many friends. Jean is predeceased by her parents Euphemia Marshall and Leslie McDonald, her sisters Isabel (Wally) Bourne, and Margaret (Frank) Stott. Jean was a graduate of the Brantford School of Nursing in 1946 and was the supervisor of the recovery room at the BGH for many years. A Celebration of Jean's life will be held at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Saturday, December 12th, 2015 at 2 p.m. At her request, interment with her husband Leonard has already taken place. Donations to the Brantford General Hospital Foundation, or the Brantford General Hospital Nurses Alumni Association would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jean in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
